 Thank you for putting your trust in us and choosing us as your Sleep Consultant. You are about to make the first step in joining hundreds of other families that have achieved better sleep for their baby/toddler and the whole family. 

Please find below some important bits you need to know before we get started.

Always seek the advice of your doctor or other qualified health practitioner regarding any matters that may require medical attention or diagnosis, and before following the advice and using the techniques described in the Sleep Program. Reliance on any information provided by Aligned Insights Ltd is solely at your own risk. The advice provided by Aligned Insights Ltd is for the child discussed in your questionnaire provided and the client agrees that the sleep plan is not to be shared with other parties as it may not be safe/appropriate to do so.

Exclusion/Limitation of Liability

Aligned Insights Ltd does not make any representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding consulting services provided.

Aligned Insights Ltd liability (if any) is limited to the consulting fee paid by you to Aligned Insights Ltd, and in no event will Aligned Insights Ltd be liable to you for any other claim, losses or damages.

Service Agreement

For the success of this sleep plan it is highly recommended that you follow through with the process outlined in the sleep plan written for your child to the best of your ability.

In order for the sleep plan to be relevant and accurate, this sleep plan needs to be implemented within 30 days of the sleep consultation. Strategies and circumstances may change as children grow, and so it is important to implement the plan within these timescales.

If this plan cannot be started within 30 days, an additional fee may be assessed to re-write the sleep plan.

Aligned Insights Ltd agrees to provide you with support services (as outlined in the invoice/product description) as you implement the sleep plan.

Fee Agreement

You agree to the service and fees outlined in the invoice. Fees paid for services provided by Aligned Insights Ltd are to be paid in full prior to the writing of the sleep plan.

Unless you are on a pre agreed payment plan, we require payment in advance in order to provide the services. If you fail to make any payment on the due date, we shall invoice you immediately for the whole of the outstanding balance and payment for that invoice will be due immediately. For agreed payment plans, a deposit of 50% is payable to secure your booking with the balance due 1 month later.

The fees are non-refundable including those on a payment plan except for where we cancel a programme.

In all circumstances we are not able to refund to you any of the payments you have made, even where you do not complete your sessions with me, as payment is for the programme as a whole, not individual sessions. This is a reflection of the amount of preparation we need to put into the programme to make it most effective for you and the amount of time we shall dedicate and set aside for preparing for and attending our sessions together. This policy also helps you with your own accountability and commitment.

Follow up support

Phone calls:

During the course of your plan of sleep changes, we will call you by telephone 3-4 times (depending on call length or your package). Together we will pick a time to chat on scheduled days and times that will work for both of us. Our phone call will last about 15 minutes. If you can have the sleep log filled out before our call that would be great so we can focus on your questions during the call.

If you do not answer the phone at our scheduled time and do not contact me via email within 1 hour or call me back within 15 minutes, then that missed call still counts as one of your phone calls. 

If you need to change the date or the time of your call for any reason, please let us know as soon as you can by email or whatsapp. If the call time will not work because of a nap issue or something unexpected comes up, you can send a WhatsApp message to let us know the nap is not going well and that you will need to push the call time to a later time. We will do our best to accommodate that.

We do not offer text message communication at any time.

Phone calls not used during the sleep plan cannot be saved for use on a later date after the sleep plan ends. The first phone call is the day after night one and usually one towards the end of our time working together.

E-mail/Whatsapp support:

During the 2/3/4 weeks (depending on package) after you begin the sleep plan, you can WhatsApp message us daily with updates and questions, and we will get back to you within 24 hours, usually sooner. We will reply to WhatsApp messages, on Monday - Friday between 830am and 430pm. 

We don’t reply to WhatsApp messages after 430pm until the next day and do not reply to WhatsApp on weekends as this is family day for us, unless we have just started your plan. If we do not hear from you, we will check in with you every few days during your second week after we have used our phone calls. If we don’t receive any reply, we will assume that everything is going well and that you don’t need any further assistance.

Sleep Logs:

Please record yours/your baby/toddler’s sleep on the log we have provided for the period we are working together. We would like you to record sleep for at least 10 days, possibly longer. Please update the Google sheet at least each morning (it’s easier to do this as you go along), and on days we have calls, please complete this prior to the call. This will help us ensure that we have everything progressing well.

 

The sleep log really is an essential tool in this process. We will not be able to provide advice if we have nothing to reference to so your engagement in this is crucial to the success of the plan.

121 Sleep Packages only (not self settler) - It is ideal if this sleep plan is started within a few weeks of the initial consultation. We understand life happens and sometimes there is an unexpected delay in the plan being started. If we don’t hear from you within 30 days of our initial consultation, We will assume you don’t need any follow up support and everything is going well.

Due to ongoing phone appointments with clients throughout the day, We do not answer unscheduled phone calls. If you need to reach us, email or WhatsApp is the best way to contact us if you are working 121 with us (not self settler packages). 

Weekends are “family time” for us, so unless you are in the first few days of your sleep plan or we have discussed the need for email/whatsapp contact on a weekend, we cannot be reached. If you leave a message for us over the weekend, we will get back to you on the next working day.
